1. Data Ownership

GutCheck is a local-first application. This means all data you enter—including food logs, personal experiences, and markers—is stored directly on your device's local storage (SQLite database). We do not have access to your data, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Third-Party Services

To keep the app free, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain anonymized information, such as your device's advertising ID, to show relevant ads. This data is managed by Google according to their privacy policy.

3. Data Security

Because your data is stored locally, its security depends on the security of your device. We recommend using device-level encryption and passcodes.

4. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Reset Database" or "Clear Logs" features in the Settings menu, or by uninstalling the app.

5. Updates

We may update this policy from time to time.
